To prepare barley groats No. 2, you need: 1. Measure 1 cup of groats. 2. Wash the cereal under running water. 3. Add groats to a pan with 2.5 cups of water. 4. Add salt to taste. 5. Put the pan on the fire and bring to a boil. 6. Reduce the heat, close the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes until the water dries up completely. 7. If necessary, you can add a little more water and continue cooking. The finished cereal can be served with various sauces and additives to taste.
